For the equality of information achievement, ΕΕΚΕ proceeded to add features to its website for the accessibility of the disabled, based on the WCAG 2.0 standard, according to the international organization W.A.I. for the addition of the “Euclid” bar as well as for the installation of a text-to-speech service.
At the same time, publications such as “The Consumer Primer“ and “The Traveler’s Primer” were converted to Braille format and were distributed free of charge to libraries for the blind. Also they were converted in electronic book format (CD, DVD, USB) and posted on ΕΕΚΕ website. Finally, a special sign in Braille Code was placed at the entrances of its Athens Greece headquarters.
