The app provides useful information on the rights of travellers – consumers during their transportation in the country (airplane-ship-train-bus) and during their stay (hotel accommodation-food-shopping-travel by taxi, etc.) as well as useful information and advice. You will also find a list of useful telephone numbers (airports, ports, embassies, etc.). At the same time it includes many other useful functions.

Traveler Rights GR offers not only complete and understandable information for travelers about their rights and a list of useful phone numbers, but also other important functions for the traveler. Specifically, through the app travelers can send an immediate S.O.S. message with simultaneous sending of their location coordinates, in case they are in danger, they can submit a query or complaint in case they have not been able to solve a problem on their own and become a member of the Union of Employed Consumers of Greece

Through the app you can find out your rights when travelling in the country (airplane-ship-train-bus) and during your stay (hotel accommodation-food-shopping-taxi etc.) as well as useful information and advice. You will also find a list of useful telephone numbers.

The app is designed in two languages, Greek and English

The rights under the legislation are presented in a simple and understandable way so that the knowledge is accessible to any interested user.

The information in the app is accessible even when you’re offline. However, some functions, such as sending a query or SOS message, require your device to be connected to the Internet.

One of the most important functions of the app is direct contact with us. In case you do not manage to find a solution to a problem you are facing, you can navigate to the “Complaints” function and contact us by filling in the special form where you can describe your problem. We will contact you in a very short time.

There is no cost for sending a query and answering it. However, in case your complaint needs further investigation, management by the Hellenic Consumer Employees’ Association and forwarding to the competent bodies, you should register as a member and pay your symbolic monthly fee.

The members of the Union of Consumer Workers of Greece:

  • They have legal support in settling their debts with the Banks
  • File reports and complaints about any misleading and abusive practices by suppliers

Yes. The registration of a new member or the renewal of a subscription is determined as follows:

  • New member registration : three euros (3,00€)
  • Monthly membership fee: one euro (1,00€)
  • Total annual membership fee for new members: fifteen euros (15,00€)
  • Total annual subscription renewal : twelve euros (12,00€)

The application allows you to send an immediate S.O.S. message, with simultaneous sending of your location coordinates, in case you are in danger or in an emergency situation. A standard message is already available, for fast sending and time saving. In order for the recipient to receive your coordinates, activate the mobile data and location service
