This action of the Local Office of Nafpaktia-Dorida concerns the access and coordination of teachers-volunteers, pensioners, unemployed and employed that offer free lessons to students whose family income is extremely low, because either one parent is unemployed or both parents are unemployed and they can not bare the costs of the tutoring (social private school).
The action began during the school year 2012-2013 and still continues every school year with the title Social Private School. In the Social Private School study 110 students of Gymnasium and Lyceum, it operates with 32 teachers-volunteers and helps the families whose income is extremely low, especially the unemployed.
With the announcement of the results of the university entrance examination on July 2014 it was announced and the success of 10 students of the Third Lyceum from the 2nd cycle of the Social Private School.
It is worth mentioning that this success is owed to the teachers-volunteers of the Social Private School as well as to the children who exploited the support of their teacher in the best possible way.
