Traveler Rights GR application is a useful tool for Greek and foreign tourists who plan to travel and stay in Greece. It presents the most important traveler rights, provides travelers with a list of useful contacts and offers the possibility of direct communication and support.

The app provides useful information on travelers and consumers rights when traveling (airplane-ship-train-bus) and staying in the country (hotel accommodation-catering shops/establishments-purchases-taxi transfers etc.) as well as other useful information and advice. You will also find a list of contacts in order to reach tourist services when needed (airports, ports, embassies, etc.). Except for information you can also find many useful functions.

In addition to necessary information and useful contacts, Traveler Rights GR offers other functions. In particular, you have the possibility to send an S.O.S. message while sending the coordinates, in case you are in danger or emergency.  Moreover you have the possibility to communicate with us by asking a question or submitting a complaint if you cannot find any solution to your problem. A special member form is available to complete if you wish to become member of the Union of Working Consumers of Greece

You can find contact information (telephone number, address, e- mail address, and website) of necessary tourist services (airports, bus stations, port authorities, train stations, embassies, Tourist Police, emergency telephone numbers) and make calls automatically.

Sending any question to be answered does not incur any cost. However, you should become member of the Union of Working Consumers of Greece and pay your monthly contribution, if you wish for further investigation and proceeding in relative authorities for the resolution of your affair.

Becoming member of the Union of Working Consumers of Greece means that you:

• Have access to information about your rights and obligations as consumers
• Enjoy up to date information about consumer issues
• Have legal assistance in settling your bank debts
• File reports and complaints about any problem you face as a consumer

The economic expenses for the enrolment of new members or the renewal of your subscription are:

• Enrolment of new member: the amount of three (3,00) Euros
• Monthly membership fee: the amount of one Euro (1,00)
• Annual subscription for new member: Fifteen (15,00) Euros.
• Annual renewal of subscription: Twelve (12,00) Euros.

The Union of Working Consumers of Greece processes your personal data only to the extent necessary to provide its services (maintain members record and complaints record, contacting members when necessary), according to the existing European and national laws. We do not transfer your personal data to third parties without your own consent. Your written and signed authorization is always required, when is necessary to convey your complaints to relative authorities.

All the information is also accessible when you are offline. However, some functions such as sending an SOS message or filing a complaint, require Internet connection.

If you need help, you can contact us directly by completing a special form where you can describe your problem. Navigate in function “Complaints” to find this form. We will contact you as soon as possible.

In case of emergency or danger you can send an SOS message while sending your location coordinates. There is already a standard message for immediate sending. Internet connection and location service activation is necessary
